As some of you know, I am a Program Manager at a 4 unit apartment building for the developmentally disabled. My job is a 24/7 on call position and requires me to be on site for 35 hours a week. So I never really feel like I am "off". I just got a promotion to a Senior Auditor position with in the same agency. It is a 4 day work week with no holidays, weekends, or late night phone calls. My 9 weeks vacation stays the same, my pay will increase every year. I will get paid mileage as I travel to the sites to audit their financial. No more allegations of abuse. No more bickering amongst individuals, families, staff. No more call offs. No more having to answer for everyone. No more gray areas. No more filling in when staff blows off a shift. No more certifications. Financials are black and white. Black and White. I have just landed my dream job with the Agency....so glad I didn't take that Corrections Officer position with the State. All glory and thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Congratulations! The ledger/balance sheet may be black and white, but sometimes the stewardship and strategies behind the spend muddy the waters. Wisdom young jedi. Definitely praise worthy though.
Thanks, guys! Yessir! So true! More managers get fired for misappropriation of funds than any other reason ... I have to think like a bad guy to catch the bad guys... with Jesus beside me, life has been nothing less than spectacular...
Boy Tony, your have quite the year minus the loss of you Father In-Law. But I'm sure he's smiling even more now then when you killed your buck. It's sounds as if you really deserve this. Great job and congratz my friend.
Congrats Tony, well deserved I'm sure! 9 weeks of vacation??? Sounds like someone needs to come west during early November and do some hunting.

We have positioned ourselves financially where I will be able to take you up on that ...I plan on travelling every year to hunt with many on here ... If you didn't abuse these people you wouldn't have these allegations. If you kick a guy in the butt... he's going to jump. You can't fondle people as they sleep. You got to play fair. LOL
