Man what a year I'm having and season hasn't even started yet . After my son got home from Afghanistan last year I convinced him to come home and deer hunt with me again . I bought his tag and took him to my favorite stands and he ended up shooting a decent 8 point . I absolutely had a blast those few days Just got off the phone with him and he's taking 3 weeks off work this year for bow and rifle hunting with me . Got to admit I was shocked as I never new him to have an interest in bowhunting but it's never to late to start . Love it when the kids come home and let me put them on deer and 3 weeks with the grandson wont be bad either
That sounds great. I got my wife into hunting last year and I think I was more excited to get her first deer than I was when I got mine. Always fun to share the outdoors with family and friends.
Thanks all , I'll be sure to thank him for everyone !! Starting to think I'll shoot the first decent buck that steps out this year and then start filming everyone else . I'll have 3 kids home hunting with me this year and my little brother called the other day wanting to know if I had room for him so he'll be coming up from Oklahoma . Of coarse I did tell the brother that the kids get first choice on my best stands so his better options are dwindling
That's cool!! My wife loves hunting but now days she gets stuck watching all the grandkids , guess she doesn't call it being stuck though Can't wait till she gets out and hunts with me again .
My older brother introduced me to hunting back in the early 2000's, and there is nothing I enjoy more than spending a day in a stand/blind with him.
hopefully i have more time to hunt with my new job im gonna try and get my girlfriend her first bow kill this year. last year we had a close call but just couldnt make it happen
