That's what traditional bow hunters say about compounds, and they are arguably correct. Let's face it, a compound bow with 65-80% let off, sights, and use of a release is a pretty easy weapon to master, certainly compared to a longbow. It's all good. How someone else hunts has no bearing on me and what I consider fun/challenging in m hunting endeavors.
For all we know, the guy who shot the deer probably spent countless hours setting up his shed/blind, tons of $ on bait, went thru thousands of trailcam pics, and sat dozens of times before the deer wandered in. Why would the fact that baiing occasionally brings in a big deer be a reason to dislike baiting? You mean you don't like it b/c it works for other people so you refuse to try it? Any person on this site would love to go out into their front yard and shoot a buck. Most don't have that luxury.
