This is the only mount in my house that I have never scored the rack on. I just got it down and put the tape to it finally after about 9-10 years :D It was/is a 2.5 yo with serious narly thick bases. I just wish it had been a Bow kill  But this buck holds some special memories, Dalton was with me when he was around 8 or 9 years old. Besides it needed dusted off anyway :D Ill tell tomorrow what I came up with :)
Me and friends thought it was 3.5 until they tooth checked it, the body was hugh to.
Guess away..he had 2" of brow snapped off on his left.

I chose this form to show the point on the back side that looks like a Cigar

At first glance the number 114 came to mind, good tine length, good mass, okay mass. He looks like one heck of a 2-1/2 y.o.

I'm gonna go 124 and some change. He has a lot of stickers off those bases. Looks like he was starting to form a droptine on his right side. Cool looking buck either way.

    Cool buck!
I'm thinking around 120. That is a heck of a nice 2.5 for sure!

I would say about 125...cameras can play tricks on ya a little. My buddy shot a deer this year that looked huge on camera...saw him in person , wasnt to big at all.

Nice buck, but im also no expert ..ha..probably way off..

If it is a 125...that would be my biggest trophy...

Yes the Mass im sure threw some off. 5" and 5 4/8" on the H1's are definantly not the norm on a 2.5 buck. This buck IMO would be considered very top end for my area, not average. good guesses everyone :)
EDIT: I would have loved to known what this guy would look like at 4.5 He would be a net score bummer though. My buck this year might not even make book,,,,its gonna take a very vary bad hit on net.

    Nets are for fish. :p

Seriously, I don't even have a clue what any of mine net. Don't care.

If they grow the bone, they get credit for it in my book. Period.

I tell you one thing...I am not too sure of what I think of tooth aging?

This buck has 5+ inch mass and a huge body...but is supposedly only 2.5 years old?

I can't help but be a bit skeptical in the accuracy of that aging method from some examples I have seen lately.
