just finished painting the climber!

    just finished painting the climber and i dont think i have a career in painting or an artistic bone in my body but hopefully it'll do. just wanted to fix the shiny frame that showed where the paint was scratched. ya'll take it easy on me now dont joke on me to hard lol...![​IMG]

    I hope those aren't a "modification" for the stock pins/bolts that are supposed to hold the climber bar on place!!!! I have a friend who nearly died doing exactly that trick w/ "quick" pins, and when the top of his stand let loose, he flung backwards, with BOTH ankles still stuck in the base of the stand, tearing the anterior ligaments in BOTH ankles!!!!

    Otherwise, it looks good, but if that's a modification, don't use it that way for your safety.

    no mod same ole pins with the springs and all. dont think i am smart enough to figure something out like that! lol!

    That looks like a fine paint job to me. Those deer will never know you're there.

    An Amacker stand. They can be a little noisey(when climbing), but it's my favorite stand! I'm as safe as can be in it and could sit all day!!!! Here is a little piece of advice for you. I like the seat that came with mine...It is the same one you have pictured, however get an Ol'man net seat and you will love it even more. Great paint job by the way, a big pattern with only a few colors. Best way to do it!
