I was thinking about trying out a new broadhead; I think I've narrowed my list down to the following heads:

    Rage (2-blade)
    G5 Tekan
    Slick Tricks

I'm really leaning towards Slick Tricks; anyone having any suggestions?

i like the new NAP Braxe's but I broke a blade the yesterday when i hit a deer in the spine. nasty cut though and i will continue to use them. I also have the Grim Reapers. They have a 1 3/4 inch cut and do not use any type of O rings or rubberbands to hold the blades closed. I have not used them on a deer yet but i have shot i them into a target and they open up great.

Check out the Reign by ephunting (sold here for the best price). I'm using them this year w/ great results.

People really seem to be talking about the NAP Bloodrunner. I might give them a try next year.

I have Slick Tricks right now, and I'm not too happy with them. Of the 3 deer I have shot with them, I have found 2 drops of blood, and lost one deer. The last deer I shot, I hit him perfectly through both lungs. I never did find a drop of blood, but happened across him laying 100 yards away. I'm thinking about switching to the 2-blade Rages, but I haven't made my mind up yet.

The doe I killed this year with my Tekan only ran about 30 yards before piling up. My brother in law shot a doe that same morning with the Rage and the the holes and blood trails for both deer were about identical.
