Just curious... who's doing this contest for the first time and NOT HNI's?

This is really the only place I hang out, but im obligated to be over there for the contest, you know how it is.:D:D

 

This will be my first time participating in the contest. I arrived shortly after teams were designated last year so this is the first chance I've had at it. It sounds like a lot of good competitive fun though. Good luck to everyone this season!

 

It seems as if they are having a hard time filling teams with no shows over there. I might give in to help out the cause. I really hate to see teams suffer due to people signing up and failing to participate.

 

I, too, gave up on HNI. Haven't been there in MONTHS! actually since I joined here. This does feel like the old contests and I love it. Now I just gotta be on the winning team like I was a few years back ;-)

 

I tried to login at HNI and check what team I was on and this is what I got.

I have tried to contact the other members of team banned but no answers yet.

Greg-o, its here only for me as well this year. I did the same thing a while back and looked at all the entrants there, didnt reconize many as before. I as well would like to see AE here in his Ninja mask and storys!

 

I'm doing both just like last year!!!! Don't post a lot on either site anymore but thats b/c I have been busy!!!!

 

Dammit... I had bet a $20 that you guys would beat the Dark Horses this year. Now I know why my wife won't let me go to Vegas.

I am new to the contest and also bowhunting.com. I think I was late to register. Hopefully, more teams will be added. My largest deer to date was an eight point that green scored 135. I'm hoping to improve on that this season.

 

I'm in both..have made too many friends there to just abandon the site.

I like the rules of the HNI Contest better (sorry to those who may be offended) but I don't see the need for doe kills in a contest!

I like the close knit group here but that also means new posts and replies are at a much slower pace.

 

Well I entered the HNI contest, that's when I really recognized a lot of members missing. I found my way over here and it looks like this is where everyone has come, to bad I was a little late and was only able to get my name in the alternate sign ups. Not sure If I will make it on a team or not.

i'm in both but as some have said that i don't post much in the other forum, but i dont post a whole lot here either.

i like the fact that you can shoot does here and they count as something they are just as fun to shoot as a buck, sometimes harder to get!!!!!!!!

This is the first year for me to be in this contest, i have been in the other for the past three years. i had to try both to see what thats all about.

I am in HNI's Bow.coms and ours at RJ ... I do em for fun, nice meeting new guys on the new teams too.

 

I am in HNI's contest this year. I actually noticed a smaller amount of teams in the one over there and wondered where everyone went.

A few days later I was messing around on the computer and stumbled into this site, as well as some familiar names. I was Illinois Buck Hunter back on the HNI site and was by no means one of the hardcore members over there.

I signed up in the alternate contest here but I believe it will probably be to late for this year.

 

I am on both forums, love em both. Like this group a bit better as a community, that board is great for info. I dont quite consider myself a good enough bowhunter to do the deer contest thing lol
