I have had my kids out for the youth mentor season / rifle season. we can only have 1 gun between us and we have taken the 243 for them to shot. I was able to hunt for my self today but its about them scoring not me in the rifle season.

however if a nice buck comes out while i'm by myself well that may be a different story. I'll try the late season come Dec 26th with my bow.

I hope both of my kids score so i can get back out there.

Brieanna missed a 4 pt on Monday the first day of rifle season. What a bummer:(

Still hunting with my bow. Life got pretty crazy for a bit during the one month I wait for all year. But it is game on once again ...I'm just looking forward to more hunting, and continuing to hunt Ohio when Indiana's season goes out. I do not feel as confindent with a gun as I do my bow, that probably sounds crazy to some people.

Bowhunting only here and I will start hitting it hard again in two weeks when muzzleloader only(bowhunting allowed) comes in for 3 days. Around that time the big boys sometimes traditionally become more visible IF they are still alive. I'm looking forward to it.

Bow only all year for me

The only time I would pick up a rifle is if I hunt a friend's ranch and he has nothing set up for bow hunting

Our gun season is over and I didn't score with that either so I just suck. :(

I am back to the bow this weekend even though blaze orange is required due to the ML season.

Finally the weather has got better. I was so sick of the 50's crap.

Still bowhunting, I did pick the grandson up at school and spend the afternoon with him in the blind on opening day of rifle season. Had 10 does and 5 bucks to chose from, some as close as 12 yards.
He did good, we watched deer for over a half an hour befor he shot one.

Still bowhunting but definitely not going as hard as I had been. I've gotten burnt out.

Actually drove to my spot this evening and turned around and came back home. Just didn't feel like it.
