just curious, where is your anchor point then if it is nowhere near your face?

My hand rests on my cheek when using a release and when I shoot fingers I also have my hand lightly under my cheek bone and close to the corner of my mouth... but the string still doesn't come in contact with my face. I guess it's because I have flat face and high cheek bones. ????

For bowhunting I use a Hind sight that keeps me consistently anchored.

cool. my wife had problems this year with anchor points and peep sight. so we threw all that out the window and tried a timberline no peep. made a world of a difference for her.

I use a kisser button, but not directly on the corner of my mouth, actually about one inch away...it may sound weird but I have dimples on my cheeks and I've actually rested the button there.
    I guess whatever works consistently.

not to fuss but I have found with enough shooting and a solid anchor point there is no need.... kisser = less speed, more string vibration, and another thing to get in the way.. just my opinion

I use an eliminator button for the same purpose. An additional reference point is never a bad thing.

I have used a kisser for years and on some bows its all I used.I currently use a kisser with a string splitter micro.I am in a paper plate at 80 yards allways.I have shot several coyotes in pitch black nights this winter. If I could only have one thing on the string it would be a kisser, but thats just me.Perfect anchor is the key to extreme accurracy how ever you get it.P.S.if a person dosn't stand behind our troops then they should try standing in front of them.

I was taught to use a kisser, and when I bought my new bow I had to go buy one. It has always given me consistent shots like you stated. I agree, I would recommend it to anyone. A consistant anchor point is the stepping stone of consistant shots.

Edit: I think the word "consistant" was a little overkill in my post....

I'm still on my first bow but can't imagine shooting without one.

I used them for years with good results. A few years back however I got rid of them and haven't looked back. For me all they did was add weight to the string. I shoot the same with or with out.

I got rid of mine this past March if you have the 3 points of.........I forgot what its called but if you have it setup correctly you don't need a kisser button or at least I dont now.

Visualize a triangle between your peep, anchor and rest I just cant think of the name right now, you should line up the same everytime if done correctly

I'm a fingers shooter so I use the tip of my index finger in the corner of my mouth as my anchor point. If I shot with a release I would probably use one.
