Recent events have made me re-evaluate and confirm how unimportant hunting truly is in the grand scheme of things. Without getting into much detail (can be seen following the link in my signature if you want), I ask that all of us remember hunting should never be the highest priority of our lives. For those like me of the Christian walk, keep hunting always behind God and family...because as a good friend is finding out it in the end could be ripped away instantly. Just a reminder heading into this season is all. Good luck guys and be safe above all else. (About time for Tony's 2013 prayer too!)
Wonderful message. Hopefully we can all feel we have our priorities set right. Prayers sent for your friend.
Nice website. I always thought your reasoning and judgement was good, but I would have to say I respect you even more now. Good luck to you and your friend.
Fantastic message Ty. Guys like you are the reason this site is so wonderful!! Thank you for sharing and we will be keeping your friend and his family in our prayers.
So sorry to hear about your friend but that's a great message . I read a outdoor magazine article a couple years ago about not worshiping a false god . I felt like it was written just for me as I had pretty much been doing that very thing . I had put hunting and fishing ahead of everything that was really important (family , God ,friends , Work) . After the realization and making some changes , not only do I have a better life but I get more enjoyment out of hunting and fishing .
Excellent video Ty...the message really hit home with me. I know I'm guilty of putting hunting before my wife for the past few months...I honestly couldn't tell you the last time we went out on a "date night". Actually I can tell you when it was suppose to be... it was my turn in june to plan date night, I never made it happen. Crazy how we get wrapped up in our own wants and visions, while ignoring the best things in life on a daily basis. tonight the computer is being shut off when the wife gets home!
TY, a wonderful video. Prayers for this man. Making priorities as you spoke of, God and family always come first is how I too have believed for some time.
