Well it started out with me my daughter and 2 friends heading up to my Mom and Dads just for a relaxing nanny whacking weekend no cameras just fun. Well Thursday comes and I leave from work just taking my time I get there with 1/2 hour of light left so I throw on my camo and grab my bow and head out to the ridge where we have a permanet stand on top the ridge. Well 15 minutes into the hunt the whole ridge lights up with yotes howling and here comes a big doe at 35 yards I give her a erp and she stops and I put my first shot with the 101st right threw the boiler room, she ran 25 yards and piled up no tracking this one.. Well a whole weekend and no camera I admitt I had withdraws so I went out and filmed my daughter last night and this morning and shot some awesome footage of a bobcat this morning walking by us at about 15 yards.. Congrats on the nice doe Walt. Sometimes it doesn't take long to get er done! I guess Todd won't let you show us the bobcat! :d
Awesome. Being out there is always a good time. Seems like you can spend all day in the woods & see nothing, yet walk in w/30 minutes light & wack one. Congrats.
Thanks guys as much as it felt good getting the doe it was way better being able to hunt with my daughter again for the weekend!!! Looks like we are going to get to hunt next weekend also togather!!Walt
