I noticed there are already 2 team entries in the official contest thread that only have one picture. Please remember that regardless of circumstances two "different" pictures are required for it to count. It happens every year that a team loses out on points due to this. The original sign up thread plainly stated the need for two different pictures of hunter/harvest/archery equipment.

Hate to see any other teams lose points for this.

I was thinking of that yesterday and made sure that bright green tag was seen in the pic of my doe.

I never tag mine until It's dragged out of the woods. Law or not I'm not changing how I do things.

Same here .... you don't need the tag in the pic for the contest anyway...

The IL CPOs are very hard-nosed about this. Many a citation has been written for pics of deer without tags.

I've never heard of a citation for taking a pic with a deer without the tag in the pic! That's crazy. I guess I will be tagging my deer earlier. Normally I wait till it's on the gambrel.

I have never heard of this either. Guess it will be the first thing I do before taking pictures from now on.

A few years ago my Buddy was hunting a state park here in Illinois.
Cpo showed up after dark while he was taking a buck he shoot.
They found it the cpo took pics of my Buddy with his deer then gave him a ticket for not tagging the deer upon kill.
