JPT vs REMYNGTON vs Oly44 - First Archery Buck Challenge

The buck I'm after is continuously showing up between 8:00 and 10:00 pm so I'm not sure how I'm going to get him to move earlier. I have a Tink's Power Scrape Dripper up right now so hopefully that can can get him to move a little sooner, but we'll see when I pull the cards this weekend. I'm dying to get a daylight pic of him!

 

Have yet to see a buck on hoof. Nothing since the doe I got on my second sit of the season. I'm not picky and have plenty of room in my freezer still so I'm definitely gonna take the next deer that offers a shot. Hoping its a buck though. Haha. Good luck fellas.

I hate that I don't have near the time to be on the forum that I used to.

 

Saw one spike today. Can't wait to go home for the weekend.

Had an encounter with a fork horn last Friday. First I've seen a buck on hoof so far. Hope things pick up this weekend.

I've got until January 1st here. Hitting the woods tomorrow but not much daylight activity on my cam. Last year I killed my deer on the last afternoon of season so I'm keeping at it hard again this year- good luck guys.

Dang JPT that sucks dude! I saw a pretty decent atleast 6-7 point yesterday evening. He never came closer than 60-70 yards. I'm hoping to get on him in the near future.

 

You guys still have season left? Mine ended the 1st.

 

I do but I won't be getting out. My last day was Saturday. I am heading back to school tomorrow and I will be busy with that. I'm also parting of items in my bow and soon the bow itself so I won't have anything to shoot for awhile.

I hear you, not to mention a sit right now wont even be enjoyable with these temps!

 

Exactly , it was -8 most of the day without the windchill. I'm not sitting it that for even 5 minutes. Basically now I'm waiting for to get my new bow so I can set it up and warm weather to shed hunt .

I have school off tomorrow too because of the cold. I was supposed to go back Monday. Its actually supposed to hit 40* here this weekend so I'm going to try and get out there and set up some cams and maybe look a little bit for some sheds since I'm seeing so much about them dropping early this year.
