Thanks Remy, he would make a perfect first buck. Got him on cam at 8:30 Friday morning. Hopefully he keeps up with this daytime movement.

I agree he would definitely be a great first bow buck. I wouldn't hesitate if I had him in front of me. I hope that he sticks to his routine for you.

I still haven't gotten anymore pics of the 2 bucks I had around my area. I'm hoping they're just taking a little break from the spot. Haha

Hope they come back for ya, just not before I get mine  But yeah that change from summer-fall patterns hurt a lot of people as far as getting bucks on camera. It was the other way around for me. I went from 0-7 different bucks in 2 weeks once the velvet shed. Most of them are young 1 1/2 year olds though. I think the guy above is 2 1/2 for Michigan.

How is it going for you guys? I have only been out once so far  I've just been really busy lately.

I might be making a trip back home soon and maybe I can catch a buck slipping other wise I will be okay with a doe.

Saw a couple bucks on Saturday morning. One was a shooter but he came in before light. I will take a doe as well if one presents the shot.

Nice. At least you've seen em. I have yet to lay eyes on a buck on hoof this season.

I've been fortunate enough to get a doe down on my second hunt of the season. Still have plenty of room in the freezer though. Haha. Id really like a buck but have no probs taking another doe if presented.

Holy wow! Yeah I don't have near that amount of time in stand. I think I've only had about 4-5 sits so far. I've been pretty busy lately.

Yeah haha, I've been hunting pretty hard without much luck- I've only seen around 6 deer so far this season. I know the neighbor shot a six point that was running with a bigger buck so they are out there, its just a matter of getting in the right place at the right time. Hunting as much as possible from here on out.

No luck on a doe down here at school so I can go after bucks. I will be home the next 2 weekends where I will be looking to put a buck down. I have no clue how they are moving up North, so it will be just guessing until I pull my cards.

Bummer dude. Hopefully you have better luck back home. If it makes you feel any better I have yet to see a buck on hoof this season. Haha. Saw 2 does this morning but they scooted out around me no closer than 70 or so yards.

Any luck guys? I missed a doe last weekend. No encounters with any bucks besides a spike on Saturday. He makes the 4th buck I've seen on hoof this year. 3 of them I passed, the other was before shooting light. Next time I will get out is this weekend. Good luck guys, one of us has to get one this year.

Nothing here. I'm heading north to hunt tomorrow and I will be there until Sunday . I think I have a good chance at putting a buck down this weekend I had a nice buck pass by my stand there just a hour before I got there last weekend, So this weekend looks good.
