It's just pics of him signing autographs. Unless they have pics of him accepting money, I'm not so sure what having pics accomplish...
True, but he's signing a stack of pictures in a hotel room. I'm sure he's doing it for free because he's a nice guy.
Unless they can provide proof he took $$$$.. he's in the clear. I'm not saying I agree, but for them to suspend him, they need the proof.
That's why I hate college athletics. The schools can make millions upon millions and they think giving a kid $200,000 worth in a college scholarship is a fair exchange. What a F'N joke!!
The NCAA does not have to have proof beyond a shadow of a doubt like in a court of law. They can and have handed out punishment to athletes and coaches with no real proof of wrong doing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I can understand what you are saying, but they receive far more than just cost of admission and board. Also, thousands and thousands of kids who would have never attended college have had an opportunity to get an education. It's not all bad. A lot of good has come from college athletics. Though, as obvious as it is... It is not a perfect system.
Your company isn't benefiting from your name most likely they are benefiting from your work which they pay you for. How many jerseys does your company sell with your name on the back or how's my programs with your picture on the front does your company promote to sell out stadiums? They are not being paid to go to school. They are given a scholarship to bring in massive amounts of revenue for the school.
This! While I think its ridiculous to "legally" pay the kids to play college football I think there could be some kind of long term insurance for health issues related to the services they provide the Universities. Many if not most players have lingering health issues by the time they make it through 4-5 years of doing whatever it takes to stay on the field.
