Class of 2013 OT Dorain Johnson is the only psu commit or player I see him going after. He will probably end up at Pitt though. Kid doesn't want to leave home.

I think the whole thing has gone beyond reasonable and prudent decision making. This country has gone crazy with the court system and they're own hypocritical values. We now must allow such things as teaching little Johnnie and Mary in school that it's OK for George and John to love each other. It's OK for Jane and Jennifer to love each other and get married. We now have to allow alternative lifestyle teachings in our schools. We have laws that prevent you from show displeasure with such measures as questioning anyone with these values. And here we are today ready to crucify the poor bastard if he were alive for not doing what we the hypocritical think would have been more reasonable. We today took away all his wins and losses, his career in support of his university and want to bury the school in lawsuits that will probably just about destroy it. It's quite OK and we have to celebrate John sucking on Georges appendages.... but don't you dare make a wrong decision about something you didn't do that someone else who was a sick bastard did. And the college... well hell, the players didn't do it... but they're done for now. If I were them, I'd walk...everyone of them. I'd take that music scholarship.

What does this have to do with the fact that a man that A LOT of people admired and respected choose to protect himself, his school, and his legacy over protecting defenseless children?

Nothing.... but it's a legal case, not something for the NCAA to pile on to. One man for sure will spend the rest of his life in jail. One man died broken and dishonored. Maybe a couple more will get something. But it had nothinng to do with games played and won by alumni for the past 14 years. It had nothing to do with the players there now. It's not the NCAA's place at this time to be judge and jury. These events had nothing to do with the football program. If I shoot something they put me in jail... not everyone living in my house.

Being from Pennsylvania and a Penn State fan it is tough to see how every thing has unfolded. For any one to say this has nothing to do with sports and is only a legal case is fooling them selves. Their were young children harmed because of football with out question. They found out what Sandusky did and made a choice, they chose to protect their school, their football program and their legacy over the well being of these children. If they would have done the right thing, and made sure Sandusky was turned in right then, how many less children would have been victimized. I am glad they are going to let the players transfer without penalty, but this should be far from over. The former President of the school, AD, trustees of the school, and coaches that knew about this need to be punished severely as well, especially a coach that saw what happened and turned it into a paying job for himself. I do not understand the 60 million though, that really isnt even a punishment and hopefully the money gets spent in the right programs for abused children. They say the donations that will come in will most likely cover even more than the 60 million. Even as I type this I still can not believe that the guy who was my favorite coach from any sport, college or pros would be involved in something this gruesome.
