Can anyone else not STAND this guy?? Yes, I know, he is easy to avoid [change the channel], but it's borderline amusing. Even though it makes me want to jump out of my third story apartment window, I watch his show and just shake my head. The way he talks just makes me cringe. I do find it comical when people bust on others abilities / results when they could never match that persons talents... The clip was slightly comical... But a big let down at the end... I was hoping for more :p
I HATE Jim Rome. I am surprised "Jim Rome Is Burning" is actually still on the air. He talks a lot of smack, but yet what has he done? Absolutely nothing. He has never been in any pro sports (or college, for that matter), yet he goes on to trash talk any player/team as he see's fit. If he truly thinks he "knows it all", then why doesn't he try on some coaching shoes and go coach a pro team. I bet that would shut his trap up pretty quick. What a ******...
I dont mind him but then again I dont go out of my way to catch his shows. I probably havent listened to him enough to have that qualified of an opinion. But Collingsworth, Mark May and Dan Dierdorf (sp) drive me nuts ... I miss Pat Summerall and John Madden ..I get a Kick out of Corso on gameday ...with his costum and helmet attire!
i used to hate him with a passion until he did Pat Tillman's Eulogy at the Memorial Service. it showed he had a heart and that how he comes across on his show is for ratings and his tv personna. i still dont watch him though
His job is to fire people up and get them to talk. Much like Howard Stern and Rush. If you can get people to listen/watch your show when they don't like you, you've arrived. That said, he's a total d-bag IMO. :D
