I did just finish 2 of Lance's books, though (Every Second Counts & It's Not About the Bike). Just never heard the name mentioned. No biggie.

 

I've never heard Lance mention much about his Junior career. In fact, Tim said Lance hated using junior gears and it wasnt uncommon for him to skip team practices to go out and do his own thing.

 

Pick up "It's not about the bike". He chronicles everything from his 1st bike, on. Great read.
