Finally able to harvest another buck tonight! Unfortunately bow season is out so I had to do it with the gun. I left work at 1:30 got in the tree at 2:00. Around 2:45 a spike came in. I watched for about 5 minutes then he walked off. 10 minutes later a small doe came in and was feeding, she seemed nervous and looking behind her. I thought I heard a deer grunt, I looked over and there was a buck making a scrape, the doe ran off and he was going to go with her I shot and he folded up 8 yards from my stand. He isn't the biggest buck I have ever killed but he is the best one I have seen since October. I am glad to finally have another deer down this season after such a slow November.
