    I just read on my Cowboys app that the team and Jerry Jones are being sued by a lady who sat on a black marble bench outside of the stadium and burnt her bottom. I didnt see any figures but the lady went to the hospital with third degree burns. Her complaint is that there were no signs warning that the black bench sitting in the hot Texas sun didnt have a warning sign. It is amazing to me how many lawsuits are brought up every year that make me laugh.

    I am all against stupid lawsuits, but my goodness, a woman got third degree burns from sitting on an unprotected seat. Someone has to take responsibility.

    OK, I really hate the Cowboys, and I have no use for Jerry Jones whatsoever, but seriously? You know it's hot, you sit on a bench in the sun (showing you don't have enough sense to come into the shade) and you are surprised when you burn your @$$? Some people are too stupid to live.

    Whats with all the Cowboys hate? Relax guys.

    Come on... They said it was 100 out that day and she sat down on a black bench. How long did she sit there until she realized it was hot? Just another stupid lawsuit.

    It is no different the the woman than sued Mcdonalds over her coffee being hot and burning her when she spilled on her. She sued and won x amount of money b/c they didn't have a warning sign....idiots man....and to all you haters Go Cowboys....

    I agree with Brett. Someone has to be held accountable in this case.

    Not even close to the same kind of lawsuit. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put a black marble bench out in the blazing Texas sun is the idiot. "Here's a bench to sit on. But, don't do it if the sun is out!" The lack of fore site by whoever made the decision to put the bench out caused the woman's burns.

    I agree, but the woman was just as dumb. Have you ever attempted to sit on a dark colored seat (or any seat for that matter) in the blazing sun without touching it with your hand first? Or maybe just realizing that black marble is probably not the best option on a hot summer's day?

    At least two idiots involved in this story.

    I'm thinking a picture of her bottom "pre burn" and "post burn" would go a long way in figuring the amount of damage done.
    I mean really if you damage the rear of a 67 corvette or you damage the rear of a box truck the degree of damage must be put into context.

    Agreed again. But, sitting on a black marble bench on a 100+ degree day in the blazing sun of Texas would be like sitting on a stove top.
