Had a few hours of trouble this morning. My desktop froze and wouldn't reset, autorepair wouldn't work. I ended up resetting the entire PC and it saved my files but not my apps or internet stuff so I lost all bookmarks, usernames and passwords saved in the system. I just spent the last three hours working on it...good grief.
Yes....yes it did. Ordered an external hard drive, going to save a system backup on it. This PC is getting old and has some issues, think it's time to replace it. It's been getting damn irritable lately.
Apparently there is an upside, there were a few things I had downloaded over the years that I no longer wanted but I couldn't take of of the system for whatever reason...those all went bye bye too. Some old games, weather channel app, etc... Man it ticks me off when I try to uninstall a program and it doesn't work.
LOL, yeah. It finally straightened out though and worked out ok. My computer got cleaned up and is working good now.
