I have been wanting a new sight for my mission eliminator for a while now. The fiber optics of my tru glo are broken and don't work and I am wanting to shoot out to 70-100 yards for practice and this sight just wont cut it. I have been looking a lot at the G5 XR due to its fixed pins and individual floater, but after going by the proshop today to fit a buddy with his first bow, I've made the decision to start saving my money to get a spot hogg boss hogg or the axt driver 4 pin. They look to be just what I am wanting, but expensive. My plan is to buy the sight this year, maybe new stabilizer or arrow the next then gonna buy a new bow in a couple years and have all high tech accessories to make it a meat piling machine. Please leave thoughts on what ya'll think about this plan and the sight or other sight options that perform the same as the boss hogg. Thanks.
I have the tommy hogg, I haven't tried other sights, but you should look at the weight. Combining that tommy hogg with my tight spot quiver, has made my bow heavy on the right. Its pretty noticeable and I may have to get a offset stabilizer. But Spott hogg still sells their sights, so it might just be something that only annoys me.
Solid plan, check out the CBE and if You are going to hunt the west get a 7 pin. Ask one of the pro athletes (my bad they are all paid) at AU to kick down some $$$ for a new bow.
CBE sights are very nice going to add them to my list. Might have to go with the axt driver because of price. if I can find one of the others on sale I might go with them. anyone know the weight of the CBE hunter?
I have an almost brand new trophy ridge 7 pin i'll make you a great deal on if you're interested. PM me.
