Been busting my butt re-doing the kitchen/dining area, living room, entry way, small hall and guest bath flooring. The kitchen/dining area and bath were vinyl, the living room was laminate and the entry way was ceramic tile. My wife picked out what she wanted (16" x 16" Marazzi Montagna Belluno porcelain tile) and we laid it on the diagonal. My only tiling experience before this was our backsplash above our counter and the hearth/fireplace surround that I built. The last tile was laid in the dining area Saturday night. We'll grout the kitchen/dining area tonight. Once that cures we can finally get all the appliances out of the completed entry way, put down the new baseboard and then after a few days have passed we'll seal the grout. Maybe then I can get back to fishing.
That's nice. I wanted to do our kitchen with tyle but my wife wanted to keep it laminate throughout the living room and kitchen because it is one big room. Plus she didn't want to clean the grout. sent from my samsung note 2
