I'm still torn on this, but the rings are Burris quick-disconnect rings. The Burris rings are "supposed to be" good enough that I can put the scope back on and it will still be zeroed. Personally, I don't have much faith in that, but it only takes about five seconds to take the scope off. The main reason I want the scope is for that first and last 10-15 minutes of legal shooting time. Iron sights can be hard to see in dim light.
Yep, I shot it and it's awesome. It only took 7 shots to verify that the iron sights were on and get the scope dialed it at 100 yards. I don't think it kicks bad at all. It is a lot of fun to shoot. Expensive, but fun.
