That's the kind of place I'd like to live - a view like that in every direction with no neighbors in sight. Of course, I'd need a few more trees. Well, a lot more trees.
lol! I was just looking at these the other day thinking I needed one. I was looking at a bear gun for an upcoming trip. I thought to myself I just as well pack a rifle instead of a handgun that weighs 5+ lbs.
I'm supposed to pick it up at 5:00 pm today. My son is coming from Missouri this afternoon and bringing a brand new grandson that I haven't met yet, so I'm not sure if I'll get to actually shoot it today. Who am I kidding? Of course I'm going to squeeze in time to fire off at least a couple of rounds.
And here's the gun. Sorry, these are the best pics I can pull off since this stupid iMac isn't working right and the Bowhunting.com app doesn't seem to post very good pics.
Let's see if this is better. Yep. I upgraded the OS on my iMac a while back and didn't realize iPhoto didn't work. I posted it to Facebook, copied it to the desktop and attached it. Much better.
This is the load that his gun likes. But you know, from one gun to the next the best loads can change quite a bit. He doesn't remember what brand of bullet is loaded in there. Just some jacketed soft point. The 45-70 isn't exactly a high tech round. :D
That's a working gun. No need to baby it. K's will only hold four in the tube. Dog, because the dog likes to be part of everything.
