Thanks Fletch, I am going to have to look at his teeth, can't decide if he is an old buck. He had a bald patch between his shoulder blades weird.

Sloppy measurement puts him at 125-130, he is a nice buck going to have a euro shed mounted lamp done with him.

The buck may have gotten his revenge on me. I skinned and quartered the buck last night and ticks were coming off. I am not squeemish at all but I hate deer ticks could have been the episode I had a few summers ago when I was wearing a hoodie all summer because I was freezing. I got bit by 2 ticks and had reactions and got the shot right away but still had symptoms. Well this morning I found an imbedded tick, pulled it out now it's the waiting game to see if there is a reaction.

Yeah they say 24 hours but I can tell you from personal experience that is BS. I think I am just going to get the shot to be safe.

It's funny you say that about the ticks. We generally have them pretty bad, but we had such a wet spring and summer that I haven't seen a tick in months and I've been in the woods plenty.

The deer ticks were not bad till we got the first frost then they were back out. 20 years ago we did not have deer ticks I never saw one in my life. Now you don't dare go outside without wearing treated clothes, I worry about the dogs getting lymes even with treatments and tick collers. I feel like a woman afraid of a mouse or a spyder, just a little tiny bug.
