    Does he stay?

    Or does he go?

Personally, i don't think there is a doubt in his mind that he is coming back next year. Why the hell not? Peterson, Rice, Harvin, Taylor, Shiancoe? Are you kidding me? I think we have 2-3 more years of Brett Favre.

Maybe im just a homer though

I'd say he'll be back one more year. But, then again, if I was a big Favre fan I would be hoping he announces his retirement because that seems to be just as indicative of a return as does "I'm coming back"

If he gets them a ring, he can possibly walk right then and get away with it...anything else...well time will tell.

Listen.... don't you think we will have plenty of agonizing minutes to watch this saga (again) during the off season? No reason to bring it up now. You'll get your 957 trillion minutes of media time with this topic. Please at least finish out the season before talking about it.

Too early to tell. I'm sure his health at the end of the season will be a big factor in his decision.

Agreed, way too early to tell and as MN Jay said his health has got to be a big factor with several more games left to play.

Also, their success in the playoffs. What if they fold in the first round? Does he view himself as an inadequate QB, whine until someone tells him he can still play, and come back?

But what if they win the Super Bowl? Will he gloat and absorb all the attention of him being donned the greatest QB of all time and want to prove he can do it again?

In case you didn't notice, neither scenario has him being humble and selfless and neither has him retiring. ;)

    I beg the differ...

Drama queen BS going into the season...nobody knew what to expect...

75% of the way through, hes proven to be a Top 5 QB if not the best in the league still...even at 40....

    Speculation starts to set in...

    IM THAT GUY :D

Chris Collinsworth asked him this very question yesterday and not surprisingly he said he didn't know, but he did say that if they went all the way, it would make his decision a whole lot easier.
