Not at all, like in most work places there is politics. I bet all of us have witness some folks keeping their job and getting promoted who were not the best worker. I bet we have witness some really good workers getting screwed because of office politics.

Sure you did, Gary. Don't you remember? That's $300,000.00 before we get to salary and benefits.

My idols don't throw out BS.

Ok, so your saying because there was one postion that the walker administration missed purposely or not, that the state should go broke to keep up the higher than normal wages of union state employees?

Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

These political games of tit for tat, is what is sucking the life out of this nation.

Are you really going to keep beating that drum? They already agreed to his benefit cuts. That fight is over:sheep:
I happen to watch CNN last night, they had the top econimist in the world on. When countries are in trouble they call him. Even had on one of Regan's top guys from back in the day.

They both agreed both parties are not going to be able to balance the budget. They are both pretty much worthless.

The one guy talked about "REDS"

    Revune
    Entitlements
    Defense
    Discretionary Spending

They both said unless you attack all four it's not going to work. They both agreed the Bush Tax's cuts need to go, even the Regan guy. It was pretty interesting.

Holy cow, your all over the place. I thought we were discussing WI, not the federal budget. Ending these collective bargaining talks ensures in the future, they don't have to go thru al this crap to balance a budget in WI.

A state brings in X amount of dollars. If every year or few years, you have to have to go thru all this crap to cut out expenses, you will never get anything done. And it brings bad PR. Its typical political games played by the democrats every election cycle. You either cut expenses or raise taxes.

Did you finally wake up one day and figure out all you wrote below on your own? Little tip for you, your big awakening below about REDS, most of us has knew this for quite a while. Where have you been?

You know, for how "pissed off" some would like you to believe people are in this state, I would have thought there would have been a landslide victory for Klop.

Some people like to make a lot of noise, while others like to keep quiet and use the ballot box.

She went from 30 points back to dead even, that is a LOT of noise.Regardless of who wins there is going to be recounts and accusations but, the fact is, to lose a 30 point lead means you messed up big time and pissed a lot of people off.

Edit: Look at what happened in a historical context and it is akin to a couple hundred decibels of noise.

Lets say the dems would have stayed in town, done their job and cast thier votes for this bill. Think there would have still been a lot of pissed off people? This is the reason, politicians know you get all the nasty stuff out first, well before an election. Hence obama with his healthcare push.
