    The heat wave here finally moved out. Temps were right around 100 with dewpoints as high as 83 degree's for damn near a week straight. The heat Index was as high as 125 degree's. Today It's 85 degree's, feels awesome compared to what It was.

    Nope. Just straight temps.

    A little over 100 right now still at 4 p.m.

    Supposed to be real hot tomorrow. :)

    P.S. The heat index is 110.

    It has cooled down to 93 with a heat index of 97. Yesterday we took the nieces to the waterpark and it was around 99 with a heat index of 110. The house is a chilled 72.

    I was going to complain about how HOT it is.then I realized that at least:
    1.) it isn't 115 degrees
    2.) I'm not 5,700 miles from home
    3.) I'm not dressed in a full BDU uniform and helmet and carrying 70+ lbs.
    4.) there is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today! Thanks to all who serve in our fine military! God Bless y'all.

    Got this in a message today I liked it... but yea, it was 91 here with high humidity, it's still uncomfortable outside.

    It was 106 at 3:00 today. We were building a roof on the south side of a house today too, talk about a scorcher. We got our 8 in and called it a day

    Good chance of rain Friday through Sunday which is supposed to bring the temps down to the low 90s... possible sunny Tuesday-Thursday with temps in the lower 90s but starting to inch back to the mid-90s.

    Still 10 degrees better than this week. :)

    I think it eventually hit 102 here today.

    yesterday was 94 with a heat index of 105
    This morning our low only got to 80...80 for a low. They said it was the 1st time we've done that in 30 years.

    At 8:40 am, it is currently 83 degrees, heat index at 91 degrees, with 74% humidity. The high is only supposed to get around 98 today because of overcast skies. Hooray!

    I don't know what the actual temp is but I farted and singed the hair off a midget.

    We haven't had a day below 96 since June 1. Today will make 11 straight days over 100.

    Going on day 27 of temps over 100 degrees. I haven't seen a rain drop since the first week of May. Yea, moving to Texas was a great idea.
