I don't care who does it, Ben... It'd be nice if Predator itself could do it, but they don't have a dipping facility so I know that won't happen. I think Dan (MeanV) told me a while back that his dipping source THOUGHT it was going to be able to get FG later on, but I haven't talked to him about it in a while.
It'd look a lot better if he'd just bottom out the front shoulder and stand up straight. Quick question... If you're not gonna shoot her bottomed out (I read on one of your threads that you were only able to manage 3-4 shots with her maxed out before tiring, so I'm assuming a little here...), why didn't you get the 65-lb. max version? To me, that's the beautiful thing about offering the increments that this one comes in... I figured 95% of buyers would want the 65-lber so they could max it out? Or does everyone still have to have the 70+ version just so they can say they've got the "big boy" version? I'm not poking fun; I hope it doesn't sound that way... I'm truly curious.
I absolutely love that cam system. I'd like to see it in person first, but looking at it I think it's the best binary configuration I've seen yet. I'd love to speak with the engineer that designed it though so I can learn why the floating yoke instead of a static that could be used to tune for cam/limb twist. I'd also kill to see a laser on those cams with the bow on a Hooter Shooter at static and full draw. I already love Binaries (obviously, I've owned 7 bows with them now and put a LOT of hardware on the wall with them), but this in my opinion is a great step forward for the cam design. I'm interested and hope to see this cabling or variations of it on more bows in the future. I'd LOVE to see a 42-43", 8" brace height bow with a straight or deflex riser, with speed and smooth mods, that could do 320ish with that cable system. That might get the Constitution out of my hands for indoors/outdoors.
Wanna know what he told me when I asked him the same question? :d He said it was to minimize the limb twist and the perception of cam lean that everyone on all the boards gets so enamored with... So, in a nutshell, they're hoping the splitter accomplishes on its own out of the box what some people spend days tinkering with to get right in their mind. Not you, RJ... but there's guys who just worry about it incessantly when they really need to worry about their shooting form and mechanics, because a bow with "cam lean" can still shoot lights-out better than they are ever capable of approaching.
Nope. Don't see it. I am leaning pretty bad there. Some day when I find someone to go shooting with, I will have them take a pic of me again. I was really tired that day. The reason I went with the 75 instead of 65, was I wanted to keep my bow around 70. I'm at 67 right now, and I can shoot it all day. I AM working on getting back up to 70, then beyond. It has been a long time since I shot, and my body is kicking itself for the last three days. It's going to be hard to find time for a while. I started my "official" third shift work schedule this week. It's also killing me. Then I have a few projects on the menu. But I am still trying to get some shooting in when I can.
I'm sorry, on closer inspection I just realized that's your arm. (I can't believe you stumbled into that) All joking aside, congrats on a great bow, I like it a LOT. That is the only bow out there right now that tempts me to put the Allegiance into backup duty.
Nope. Couldn't see myself holding a Bow that's weight resembles something along the lines of a 50. cal rifle, or a brand that's Initials are Pull Shoot Explode.
