Build a wall and collapse the tunnels, do both. We are merely analyzing the words that Trump said he'd build a wall. That's not the big picture, that's just a term. The point is, we need to stop them from coming here, keep us safe, and stop the handouts to people who don't even pay into the system. I agree, SCOTUS is a huge concern.

 

The craziest part of illegal immigrants is when local law enforcement and federal law enforcement encounter them on a daily basis, nothing is done. Nothing. Why even have the damn laws then?

 

And even worse, repeat offender illegals. They should never be here for a 1st attempt, let alone a 2nd attempt at anything.

I think every illegal arrested should be printed, documented and thrown out while at the same time put on a complete ban list from ever entering the country again.

Our constitution applies to us, not them. Microchip them if they commit a felony crime, have gps coordinates on them at all time. A bit extreme, but so are my taxes

 

That's exactly why I said we need to categorize illegal aliens into two categories, illegal non-threatening and illegal criminals. Deport the criminals immediately and log them into the national do not allow citizenship list and for the illegal non-threatening, give them the proper paperwork to get them legal and either deport or give them a grace period. If we give them a grace period and they don't get legal within the allotted timeframe, then they get moved over to the illegal criminal list and deported immediately. Congress and the next president need to work together to marry law enforcement and US Customs and Border Protection so they can work together to get it done.

 

I arrested a guy once who was here illegally and had previously been deported. He literally blew a .20 on a dui, his second dui. The powers that be let that guy walk out of the jail once he was sober, with his court case pending. Do you think he ever showed back up to court? Uh, no.

 

This is timely. (just posted on Drudge today) No mention of these rats sneaking in via tunnels. Looking forward to the stats and data set that will be posted here soon showing that the majority of these rats come here via tunnels.

What should we do with the criminals who are back after having been deported once or more already?

first thing we need to do is get out of the way and let local law enforcement who interact with the public more than any other law enforcement check status. And if they can't establish their identity and status, the local police turn them over to the feds. Would identify illegals faster, and free up federal resources to process and deport.

Second, enforce our laws and do not allow for employment of illegals.

Do those two things and we are basically creating a wall.

 

Mandatory prison and they must be on work detail. That's why we need a wall and why we need to collapse the tunnels in addition to stopping the handouts, because putting them in prison still costs taxpayers, but probably not as much as the cost of all the handouts they get. Their work detail can be to build the wall and then all active duty military and veterans looking for work can have the option of being a wall guard. Post a man every 100 yards and have a fence on the other side of the wall to create a firing zone. Put signs along the fence in espanol that says trespassers will be shot. Night vision and thermal detection for night.
