That is what Newt emphasized, sadly he is the only to do so. Cruz could have went about it a different way without "endorsing" Trump.

Hillary also took that same Oath, as did Obama and every other politician/elected official.

I voted Cruz in the primary, not that it mattered, I don't think I could do it again in 4 years though.

This comment alone is more persuasive to me than any other comment I have read online. It really does sum it up.

    Yes, I agree.

Are you sure you will not want to join Germ/Hooker making signs and t-shirts for 3rd party?

Being a leader is just as important as someone who has a lot of great solutions. Reagan had both and that's why he was so good (in my opinion). None of the 3 candidates have both to the extent that I like, neither did Cruz (he lacks the ability to lead).

As much as I hate war, it would be refreshing to go to war against an actual country rather than with an ideology. Going to war with a country is much clearer and has a more defined beginning and end. It's a touchy subject, but between Iran and North Korea, what is the right answer to prevent an imminent attack, potentially nuclear, on our own country? Negotiate with them like Obama? Obviously not. I don't have the answer but I don't like their rhetoric and I surely don't want them to start launching nukes around the globe.

I do want to preface though, I don't want to go to war.

I would welcome a war with Iran.

Iran fears Trump more than you do and will back away from a strong leader.

Couldn't it also be stated that if Hillary is elected Iran will go to war with us?

Less than a year into the Iran deal, Iran has already made 3 ballistic missile testing attempts. Where are the sanctions and retributions for doing not only the first, but following with the 2nd and 3rd? I guess we'll treat the Iran deal like our current President's hometown treats gun laws, switch the blame to those surrounding countries with weapons and disarm them instead.

Sadly with the way the world is, I don't think it is possible to go the next 10 years without some form of war involving the US. The question is do we take it to them or do they bring it to us as they continue to try to do.

One thing I can say, Trump is not responsible for our current environment and Hillary is only fuel for the fire.

I just read Michael Moore on that clown show that Bill the communist does and he said that Trump was the likely winner of the election. That touched me enough combined with cls and his post that I will be casting my vote for Trump, is a dire election and the stakes are high every single vote is needed.

Correct! When another formidable force declares war on you (ISIS and Al Queda and all flavors of radical islam have declared war on the US and the western world), the president as commander in chief has an obligation per the constitution to show so great a force and inflict such catastrophic damage against that enemy to wipe them out as to discourage any others contemplating doing the same. The current failure in chief is too busy making excuses for radical islam and apologizing for our might. To suggest a certain presidential candidate means “no more wars” is just stupid on its face. That is not a commander in chief that could be taken seriously since he disqualifies himself before he starts. To post that electing Johnson = “no wars” makes me shake my head, roll my eyes and laugh.

I believe George W Bush was one of the worst Presidents we have had, and his numbers back it up. I will tell you Bush in his heart, I believe is a good person, and he felt many times he was doing whats best for the country. Bush really tried to put the country first, he screwed the pooch a few times, but I could sit in a Blind with GW, have a beer with him, or work on his ranch.

Trump will do what's best for Trump, it's in his DNA. I would rather floss my cats teeth or Jeff's, than sit down with him for length of time.

Now the above our my views, if you have a different one, great. I am about 90% sure if Trump is elected we go to war, I would be 100% if it was Cruz, because I am sure he would think, God told him to and it was his duty.

Why is it that hard? We don't go to war with Iraq this mess we have is not nearly as bad. I roll my eye's every time I hear, Obama won't so radical Islam, that makes me laugh. Being Obama has fired more drones at these people than anyone, and anywhere he'll fire a drone at them to stop them. What he won't do is stoke the fires at home, and have even more Muslim turn into radicals.

I'm not worried about terrorist coming across the boarders, I'm worried about the stupid crap the GOP and Trump say. Want to make this 100 times worst? Elect Trump and watch the % rise of radical Islam rise in this country. Trump will make recruiting way easier.

The GOP is seems to be making this Christians vs Muslims this is my opinion, what a mess we will have here if more are converted to radicalize.

Wanna beat hate? Love beats hates, not all the time, but it's the only thing that will beat hate. Wanna have a president be an a$$ to the Muslims community and really stir the pot, well you have your guy.
