im gonna ask the lil lady for a trail cam. for xmas.... well its been 4-5 years sence i bought one an WOW i dont know where to begin. Id like to have something with quick trigger speed as i like to use on trails more than food plots or feeding sites. as far as prices i was thinkin anything under 250-225.... to many bears around this part to put a 500 dollar cam out!... little leary about puttin a 100$ cam out now but i want a good cam. So whats your suggestions????

I just recently purchased the Moultrie M80. Cost about $130 and so far I love it.

    I have several diff kinds.

For the money, don't rule out the Primos Truth model cams. It's super easy to set up. Trigger speed is good. I actually have the "base" 35 model, and am very pleased. Around $100 on amazon.

Moultrie M80, DLC Covert, or the Bushnells would be a good choice in that price-range. www.trailcampro.com is a great place to check out real-world reviews. Hope this helps.

check out chasingame.com for in depth testing/reviews of many cams...I like my spypoint ir-5, and WGI w6x(new manufature after 8/11) cams. Trigger speed about 1.2 secs for both and cost about 100 - 130$. The bushnells and coverts are good form what I have seen(brothers and friends have some).

Moultrie M80, or Bushnell's trophy cams. My personal opinion is the m80 but all of the cameras everyone has listed are decent. I would suggest getting a lock box/bear safe box. $30-50 is a cheap insurance policy for a camera. We sell all of these but you will probably find the camera cheaper elsewhere but we usually can beat anyone on the boxes. But regardless of whether you bought from us i would still suggest a box. (just in case it sounded like i was trying to be a salesman) Good luck in your search
