I haven't posted in a while however I have been popping in and out. I have to say I think there are some great discussions during off season. Everyone seems a little less on edge! My new bow for 2012 is almost done. Just in time for Turkey season! I've been preparing for my quad state Turkey adventure! I will be hunting Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

So when I order the my Helim just over 3 months ago everyone gave me crap for ordering a black riser with camo limbs. Now I think most of them want one just like it. :) I can say it makes it a little easier to tell someone "No" you can't shoot my bow when you are a south paw. :)

Here she is! I am just waiting on the custom Armortech Vison sight & Ktech stabilizer and she will be ready to rock and roll!

Ripcord Code Red Rest ( Sorry NAP) You put us south paws in the dog house again!
KTech KB26 Stabilizer. Look these guys up. Kerry, the owner is a great guy. We exchanged a couple e-mails and talked for quite a while on the phone!

I am also trying out the new Tru Glow Versa peep. So far its a thumbs up! I love the ability to change the aperture size on the fly without a bow press! And it looks good too....

Good looking bow I just got my Heli-M with black riser and camo limbs last week. Ordered it back In November. Love my bow. They are sweet shooters. And I agree with you on K-tech. I had one on my Z7 great stab!

Thanks all! The bow shoots as nice as it looks! I am so pumped. Last few days I started rounding up all my gear.

Bringing the shotty along for turks that won't copperate and close encounters of the 3rd kind. :)

I know! Trust me when I say it's a last resort. :) I love a challenge. I'll completely beat myself up if I have to use it. One of the very reasons I started bow hunting again. It seemed like it was getting to easy.

I installed the new K-Tech KB26 Stab and their string stop tonight. I have to say fit and finish is second to none. The attention to detail and design is immaculate. You can really appreciate the engineering that went it to both components.

The KB26 compliments the Helim very well as it is just the right length and weight. It even includes the "Light" harmonic damper.

I am sure I will have more to say after I shoot a week or so.
The string stop I received included a Harmonic damper as well however I opted to move it to my upper limb as it seemed more logical. Atleast at the time....
