I just finished Season 5 and made up to Justin killing the mule deer in 6. I've deer hunted from a ground blind the last 10 years or so so my son could be with me and didn't want to climb with him. He's 13 now and hunts and actually a state ranked archer so I've been toying with trying a stand or two that's all over our property. I've been by myself maybe twice in the last 10 years and briefly climbed a stand, no harness. Recently seeing the episode where Dean dedicated his buck to his father, I went today and bought HSS harnesses, life lines, etc for my son and I. While at the shop I picked up an HHA sight. I'd just seen where the owner of HHA came on the show and did a little segment with Justin. I had already decided to get a Truglo Range Rover until seeing that segment. So, my little bit is a drop in the bucket but by sponsoring BHOD two sponsors made a sale. I guess I'm a fanboi now. LOL!
Wouldn't call you a fanboy. More like an owner of a very nice sight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, my best friend and hunting partner on our land saw my new toys and bought the same HSS gear I bought for my son and I, but he one upped me and got a higher end model of HHA sight. I may have to put mine on my sons and match him! LOL! The sponsors of this show are going to make a fortune off of me! Actually I love my new HHA sight. I sighted in on 20 then 30 and guesstimated the mark for 40 and bulled it 6 times straight. I shoot IDPA and I'm so used to a 6 o'clock hold for my 1911s the single pin deal works much better for me. Only took 11 years for me to make the correlation.
Agreed. I don't know many people who bow hunt as a result I have little input from people I can trust. I know BHOD are paid good money to advertise and use the products shown but they wouldn't use them if they weren't good stuff. I buy a lot of the stuff shown cause I know it works. Also in a roundabout way it supports the good folks at BHOD have a successful business which is nice to see.
I'm just glad you got some safety harnesses. Dang; can't imagine even thinking about hunting without one.
