Yeah, I read that Bill Simmons article too. Bill Simmons hates all things Lakers, of course he would make that argument.

Yes, he openly hates on them every chance he gets...I just cannot see how Bron Bron is called the best player bar none when he lacks the one thing a great player needs.....heart. He is the most freakishly big, jump out of the gym 4.4 40 guy out there, but if you lack heart it does not matter.

I hate I got in late on this thread. Whoever said Lebron isn't a scorer, is watching a different Lebron than the one I see play. Now don't get me wrong, he does pass quite a bit, but is still a scorer at heart. Lebron definately has the potential to become one of the best ever. Physically, this man is unhuman. He has abilities that people only dream of having. Someone being that big, fast, and athletic is absolutely insane.

I think he isn't going to knock off Jordan as the greatest ever. Through Jordans first 7 seasons, I believe he averaged like 32ppg, had 5 scoring titles, 2 or 3 MVPs, and 1 ring, which he won in his 7th season. Those stats are off the top of my head, but I believe they're pretty close. One thing I see Lebron lacking, that Jordan and Kobe both have is superior leadership. When things are going good, Lebron appears as a leader but as soon as adversity hits, he becomes quiet and humble. What gives? Lebron hasn;t displayed the ability to own and closeout a game.

Lebron definately loves Lebron, I expect him to drag out this Free Agent thing for a while. Not quite to Favre status, but he'll have the cameras all over him and every sports show on the air, talking about him. He just loves the attention I believe. It should definately be an interesting summer to watch all the Free Agents.

Trevor, I don't see the Lakers signing Bosh, even though I would LOVE to see that happen. They are already running a huge lineup. They need to come up with a few decent guards to come off the bench. The Lakers bench is terrible and that's coming from a Laker fan.

I see Kobe getting his 5th ring, in a rematch of last year. ;)

Truth other than the Lakers, I just don't see them remaining the same next year. IMO Bynum just hasn't put up the numbers they were expecting, They have enough cap room to offload Bynum, sign a huge production guy in Bosh, and upgrade their bench play through the draft (2nd round guards like Bouldin or Scheyer would be great bench guard pickups) and possibly with the Bynum trade.

I just don't see LA remaining in tact as is, which sounds crazy as a (soon to be) back to back championship squad.

Could you imagine a trio of Bosh, Gasol, and Bryant with the help support of DFish, Artest, Odom, and crew? Scary awesome lineup there.

Another scary thought would be LBJ landing somewhere like Chicago with an awesome team already in place with Noah and Rose, and enough Cap space to sign a second guy in Bosh, DWade, or others...I think the Lakers restructure and another team reloads with two allstars (one being LBJ) and they will lead the league again next year.

Maybe Lebron wasn't being himself because he found out his mom was sleeping with one of his teammates.:jaw:

No, she is a recovering crackhead...most people do not know that. I keep seeing it on the rumors and notes section, and it is all over talk radio...but the big boys, ESPN, FOX, CNN etc...will not touch it until it is proven to be very true. What else have ya'll heard???
