Recently purchased a new 'Little Goose' release for this hunting season. 9/12/15 was exact date of purchase. Anyway, I sling at least a few arrows everyday to stay sharp year 'round. As I was shooting over Thanksgiving weekend, my trigger post broke off leaving the threaded stub lodged in the hole a new trigger post would screw into. CS sent me some new post to install, but I can't get this nub out. Anyone else shooting Scott releases had this problem?? Seems like an incredibly faulty design IMO, and now since CS won't respond to my messages/ emails I'm salty about this 85$ paperweight.
Looks like it is hollow. If so, an easy out should do the trick. May have to apply a little heat if it has been put in with Loctite. Other option would be return it to the factory and let them do it.
Scott's CS is outstanding. Perhaps the holiday season they were away? I'd give them a call. I'm positive they will take care of you.
I have used that release for years and just bought another one when I got my new bow. I have never had any issues with it at all and love them. I would give them a call. They will take care of you.
I know I also prefer to email being partially deaf, so I can't blame you for going that route. I dislike when companies don't respond to messages. I love my Scott releases, it should be pretty easy to get that out if you don't want to wait. EZ out or similar should work.
Calling was my first option, which I did initially the day after it broke and they did indeed take care of it to an extent by sending out the replacement post(s). But I've tried contacting them Thursday, Friday, and now today via phone and left VM as well as Email as to my next move since I can't get this broken nub to budge. I have yet to hear back from my VM or get someone to even answer the phone. Guess I'll just keep calling them idk.
Will try the E-Z out as I have a hunt planned this weekend and don't really have time to wait for mailing. I do shoot very well with this release, just discouraged about the quality of mine in particular. I had a 20$ tru Fire I bought from Wal Mart when I got my first bow that lasted me 6 years before it bit the dust...
