    I am. I found a great spot in there today. Only problem is it sets up for a south wind. Not to many of those come late October, although last year we had a few south wind days in late Oct.

    Use the water to pull your scent. The water is colder then the air, so thermals will naturally pull towards water and also pull the direction of flow of the water. So with a just off wind, the water might be the tipping point to help keep the wind and thermal consistent. With this info is there any way to get in there with prodominat wind?

    Great info. Yes there is as the spot is straight uphill from a river. If I kayak in ill only have to walk maybe 50 yds uphill and Im on stand. Plus the river flows east which helps bc we have a lot of west winds.
