I read that most manufactures recommended your arrow sit up 1/8 inch from level. Mine sits perfectly level. What are the advantages or disadvantages of being level? Should I adjust my rest up?

I believe they are probably referring to knocking point. Tune your bow through paper before doing anything. If it's shooting bullet holes - I wouldn't mess with it... Don't just move your rest up - your arrow should be in line with the berger hole.

When I setup a bow I start by setting the nock point level for a Whisker Biscuit, Octane Hostage, etc. Drop aways (QADs, RipCords, Trophy Takers, etc) - I use a string level and line it up about half a bubble high - probably close to resulting in a nock 1/8 high from level. Then shoot it through paper and let the bow tell you what it needs...
