Is this what they mean by Hunters Moon??

    The moon looked kind of cool last night. It had a large halo around it making it look like a bullseye. :biggun:

    Anyone know what causes the halo?

    I was looking at that too. It's like we were together for a brief moment. :lol: :lol: I sure hope that wasn't a hunters moon because I didnt see crap last night.

    It was really bright out last night. i didnt even need a flash light to get to my tree stand today

    Before my uncle died he told me that those were called Moon Dogs... He claimed they meant rain within 48 hrs. Last time I saw one he was correct.

    You need to watch out for werewolves during a moon like that, the full moon, the day before, and the day after.

    You don't want to be eaten by a werewolf on the way to your stand.
