Do you think this is gonna be the weekend you have a great chance of getting your biggest or best deer ever.
I really think it could be mine. the weather is right the wind is wrong but I do have a few nice bucks working scrapes that I made a couple of weeks ago. hpe everyone has a safe and good weekend out there:deer:

Wind should be perfect, there's no rain in the forecast. Will it happen? Probably not.

I'll be in the woods anyways.

killed a almost spotted doe but it felt like a world record buck to me, I will NEVER forget that feeling

This is the weekend! I will tell myself that whether I truly believe it or not. I'm easily influenced by positive thinking.

I think it is the best chance before they start hanging with the does. Hope to get some response to calling this weekend.

I can tell you all that Yesterday wasn't the day to be in the woods. I wish I would have saved that PTO day for next week. I had a nice encounter with two shooter bucks one being a buck of a life time on the 22nd. Yesterday, every single detail was the same. Timp's, wind, and me being in the stand for 13+ hours. The only thing that I can think could have changed is the stupid moon phase?

The encounter was in the Bucks bedding area. still bedding there, but not on my side yesterday. Stupid deer why won't they just die already!

Nice Michael....too bad he did not get closer. Leaving in the AM for a week-long public land hunt that is sure to have more hunter sightings that deer, but the good thing is that I will not be at work.

Could be because it's early Nov...but weather here in West/Central IL looks "too nice" this weekend. Another weather front early next week...I'd still pick the following weekend (12th/13th) as my pick from best odds...and actually taking all factors into account - my guess for peak buck movement is even a little later around the 15th-17th.

But - bottom line is I will get out whenever work and family allow...anytime in Nov is worth your time.

    Good Luck this weekend guys!

The wind is supposed to be gusting up to 30 mph. I have a river bottom stand I'm going to hunt. I really think I got a good chance at getting my biggest buck ever.

down here in S IL, the weather is to warm. It looks like next Thursday will be the coolest day H 50 L37, so I guess that will be a good day to take off, but I am considering waiting until the following Monday 14th. Our shotgun season opens that Friday, so it would be nice to put a buck down prior to that hot mess. I'll be joining the orange arm on Friday.

The bucks are moving more and more, does will start coming into heat. I feel I have a great chance of shooting a deer or two the next couple of weekends.
