Is this the same deer?

    So I was looking back through old trail cam pics and ran across a few pics of a young buck that looks a lot like the buck I killed this year. The first pic was taken in 2011. The second is the buck I killed this year. This would putt him at 4 years old or so. His body was pretty big at over 180lb when I harvested him. For a buck around here that's pretty good sized. Remember this is an NC deer from a high pressure area. To me they look the same but, I'm just not sure. Wanted others opinions.

    I'd say yes or they surely from the same gene pool

    Wish there was more pictures of the one you killed this year. Im no expert but hard to see him being 4.5. Then again its hard to see the buck I shot that old also just from antlers, so I wish I could see more. Either way, they share blood some how Id bet.

    absolutely no way to tell from the two picks you have..might be cousins...

    Congratulations!!! With that being said, I dont think he is a four year old. NC or not.
