Pictures are about 20 minutes apart with none inbetween on the camera, Never shot a buck before and this is on a 30 acre lease i picked up this year, I hope to pick it up again next year as well. All that being said....Is this a shooter or not? Im having trouble deciding, if hes 2.5years old he has a lot of potential but he aint nothing to laugh at now. So opinions?

Too hard to tell if this is the same buck. The second pic doesn't show much rack. If you haven't shot a buck yet, I'd take him.

The way to tell if he is a shooter is if he come in and your heart starts racing, no one can tell you if he is a shooter because people have different views on shooters, if he makes you happy than let one fly and give him a good dirt nap!

My dad, and hunting partner, always told me when I was growing up and first getting into bow hunting, that any deer with a bow is a trophy. To this day even after all the trophies my heart starts racing as soon as I hear one coming in......even when it ends up being a squirrel. Like rsmith said, if its a shooter to you take it and don't look back. Be proud that your putting food on the table and doing your part to better conservation efforts.

Never let someone else decide for you what pleases you. If you want that deer... shoot it... smile for the camera... and post pics... don't forget to include the story.

Probably same but too hard to tell for sure. As for if he is a shooter that is a personal choice...only time someone else's opinion comes into play is if someone is letting you hunt their land and they have imposed restrictions. Otherwise, not a sole outside of yourself should make that decision. Good luck either way!

I'd say low to mid 90s. 100 is stretching it and I think 110 is out of the question

I'm thinking around 100. When I started bow hunting, let's just my 1st buck was less than impressive to most but it was fn awesome to me. I built on that and made a choice to never take a shot on a buck smaller than my previous best. And if that opportunity doesn't present itself I shoot a couple of slick heads to fill the freezer. I will say that buck is way bigger than my 1st so put a thwapping on it brother and grin a little!!! Good luck
