    Hey Everyone,
I am just getting back into shooting and it has been a long time. I just got a new bow and have really enjoyed shooting it. I was practicing today and I split one arrow shaft right down the middle. Is this normal?

Yep, a fence post has a tendancy to do that.

NO, back up and shoot at different spots.:whip:

Just kidding, congrats on the robin hood and welcome back to archery and to BH.com.
It sounds like you know what you are doing if your splitting arrows already.

If you have any questions about the new equipment and accesories, ask away lots of good info on this site and a few knowledgable guys too.

Maybe I missunderstood your ?. Did you hit the arrow with a second arrow and split it or did the arrow just split when you shot it.
