These two have been running together. Closer one is I think a 3.5 yr old. looks to be 110-115 ish ". I passed him on my first sit of the season. Hes got a nice body but I think one more year might do him some justice. The other one is the one im questioning. Looks like a 2.5 yr old and would be nice if other side was ok. Do you guys think he hurt that side in velvet? Seems to be a balled up mass under the skin. Second video shows it better. Looks healthy otherwise. https://youtu.be/G_x6lkNlomw https://youtu.be/2JbyJaa_FF4
Like CEW said he might have broken it off or it just could be a deformation which he might loose next year. I would definitely pass on him this year to see what happens next. If it comes back then make a decision from there.
Yea hes definitely on the safe list unless the 12 yr old thats hunting with us wants to take him for his first deer. I heard if they get injured on one side of their body it causes the other side to deform sometimes. Hopefully he lives through cause hes young and looks like he may turn into somethin.
