Is this a tick?

I pulled my cameras today( ignore the date lol) and saw this. Strange for sure.

 

Looks like a tumor, to me.

 

It may be, but when I zoomed in it looks like its attached??

 

A tumor wouldn't be?.....lol

I zoomed in, too. The res. is not great (zoomed), but I'm just saying what it looks like (to me).

Honestly, it looks like a snail shell, zoomed in.

 

Looks like an infection of some sort i dont think its a tick possible injury healin up.

 

Deer warts.

 

If it's a tick, it's B&C.

wayyyyy to big for a tick, it's nasty looking that's all i know, and i wouldn't shoot that doe with 20 on her it would make me sick every time i put a fry on...lol

 

Im almost 100% sure its a tumor. A friend of mine killed one years ago with those all over it. weird !!!!

 

I'll be darned. I've never seen or heard anything like that. That's what I like about this place. Always, learn something new everyday.

i have never see a deer with a tumor before interesting

 

Im not sure if I would be able to shoot a deer that came along looking like that. Im all about making sure I harvest every available piece of meat and although they say that it doesnt affect the meat, I just dont think I could do it.
