    thats a wolf. i also live in wisconsin. just north on milwaukee. my grandpa had a wolf in his back yard and ive seen wolfs when hunting up north. rogue wolves are making there way down here. and yes say good by to the deer population in the southern part of the state as well. thx wiconsin dnr

    Certainly looks like a WOLF to me as well....

    Snout says it all. A coyote has a more narrow snout, and larger looking ears.....OR so I've been told....

    The DNR's wildlife biologist has confirmed this to be a coyote. Said it may be a cross but it is a coyote. Thanks for all your input.

    Its a wolf coyotes dont have a bushy neck hair like that and there legs are no where near that long . Also the face is long like a wolf not a coyote.

    There wrong look at the long wide snout wolf for sure not a coyote......

    no way that is pure coyote. I have seen many wolves when I was going up in Minn., sure looks like wolf to me. I guess it could be a cross.

    When I saw that face my first thought was "wolf." You can't mistake those eyes.

    Wolf I'm 99.9% sure of that. SW Wisconsin have fun it's only going to get worse as far as patterning deer is concerned.

    Sorry but your DNR personell is wrong. No way that is a coyote. The DNR denied the number of wolves in the Northern part of the State. Now the numbers are triple their estimates.
