    I would say this is a coyote. Definitly has a dark coat, would make a great mount.

    Long legs for a coyote, might be a young wolf hard to say. What part of the country are you from?

    It's in southwestern Wisconsin. Some have reported seeing wolves about 10 miles from there.

    have never seen a wolf in person but that's not a coyote your correct on the legs,he's very dark and don't forget about the tail coyotes have bushy tails.

    I haven't heard of any problems. Then I never even heard of any reports until my cousin talked to his DNR buddy. I don't think there are very many around this part of the state.

    Looks to be a Timber. Kinda surprised though that he's standing there looking at the camera. Their usually skittish around cams, been my experience with them anyway. Great pic!!!
