As a first time bow hunter, actually first time hunter of any kind! It was my first time out and was in a ground blind (afraid of heights). I had 2 doe come in and they looked a little small so I just sat and watched them. But as I look back at it. And being a first time hunter. Is there such a thing as a doe being to small? It still was a good rush and now I can't sleep thinking about it!

You may have been seeing two fawns that were born this year.

If you feel its too small, don't feel bad about not taking the shot. I pass up on small does as well. There are plenty of people that shoot anything without spots, but thats just a personal choice. There will be plenty of chances for ya :tu:

It's all what you think. If it's too small for you, let em grow up until next year. If not, boy is it gonna be tender!

All up to you, but the first time hunters I have helped out, I've encouraged them to shoot the first deer they have a chance at. Getting that first one under your belt is a real confidence booster and helps prepare you a little more for when that big boy gives you a chance.
