or is it just opinion? Ive been doing some snooping around on a tradionals. Id really like to get one too shoot for fun and maybe some small game (for now anyway) is a recurve better than a long bow or vise versa or is it all in opinion?

It's all a personal thing I prefer long bows over recurves.

The longer length of a long bow gives a smother draw, less stacking and less finger pinch to me anyway.
